I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with an MA in Psychology Counseling from the LIOS (Leadership Institute of Seattle) Graduate Program of Saybrook University.
I offer individual, couple, and family therapy. I am a systemic therapist, which means I believe your community, your relationships, your family of origin, and the greater world in which you live all impact your current situation. My focus is on promoting your strengths to help you achieve your goals. I use a variety of therapeutic interventions, but the common thread that links them all is Mindfulness. In my work with couples and moresomes, I apply Gottman theories to your preferred family structure.
My practice is knowledgeable and affirming of LGBTQ+ identities and all forms of consensual non-monogamy. My practice is anti-racist. I understand the need to have a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your challenges. I have specialized knowledge and experience working with transgender clients and polyamorous clients. I enjoy exploring gender identity and also enjoy working with people to strengthen their relationships with themselves and others who are important in their lives. I also have experience working with those who are managing chronic illness.
I am a member of or affiliated with the American Counselor’s Association, Seattle Counselor’s Association, the Ingersoll Gender Center Therapist and Physician consult group, and other professional consult groups.
